Okinawa Gojuryu Karate-do Kyokai

The Okinawa Gojuryu Karate-do Kyokai was founded by Master Eiichi Miyazato in 1969. Miyazato Sensei served as president of the Kyokai until his passing in 1999. Koshin Iha Sensei was appointed by Miyazato to be his successor. Koshin Iha Sensei became the second president and third generation head of Gojuryu Karate. In 2004, Iha Sensei retired from the presidency, and Yoshio Hichiya Sensei, became the third president of the kyokai.
